Titanfall 2 begins with a pretty compelling introduction. Right from the start, the movement feels excellent and satisfying. The gameplay has fluid combat and a good sense of control. One of the standout aspects is the level design especially areas with the moving segments. The transitions and flow between all of this are as smooth as you could possibly want. And I am genuinely impressed by Titanfall 2
Surprising Depth & Puzzle Design
While the story itself isn't anything groundbreaking, it does have some intriguing ideas. It’s solid, just not particularly emotional or deep at first glance. What did catch me off guard was how puzzle-focused the game actually is. Thankfully, these aren’t tedious puzzles, they’re well-integrated and make excellent use of the movement system. At times, it even reminded me of Portal 2 or Half-Life in how the gameplay flows through puzzle-solving and movement.

Difficulty and Combat
I originally chose Hard mode expecting a solid challenge, but I ended up switching to Master difficulty later on for a more satisfying experience. The regular combat holds up well, but I do wish the boss fights had a bit more of a challenge to them. That said, the final chapter blew me away. It’s clear that’s where most of the budget and creative energy went. It was epic, polished, and genuinely memorable.

Titanfall 2 Review - Ending & Connection
A game should start strong and finish even stronger, and I’m happy to say Titanfall 2 nails it. While I didn’t expect to care much about the story or my Titan companion at the beginning, that changed by the end. The connection builds up gradually, and it ends up being surprisingly meaningful. It turned into a compelling experience I wasn’t expecting when I first jumped in. Titanfall 2 is a hidden gem that delivers in gameplay, polish, and movement in ways that few shooters can match.
